Heridas de Amor - Episode 35
Cesar told his friend Luis Alberto that he will save Miranda's father and San Llorente investments in order to impress Miranda. Luis Alberto said, "You love her that much?" and Cesar said yes.
Vicente (the lawyer) told Miranda at the board meeting that Gonzalo has given all his shares to her, making her the company's new president.
Luciano told the board members that (since he has Julio's shares) he has a right to sell the business, and they said they have the right to make the first offer. He agreed to discuss that at their next meeting.
Later Luciano told Alejandro if Miranda takes over the business, she could be held responsible for Cesar's fraud. Alejandro looked worried.
I think Vicente told Miranda that Gonzalo had planned to give her the company for her birthday as a surprise. (Not sure but this may mean the company was already in Miranda's name when the fraud took place.)
Veronica begged Renata to forgive her and let her stay at the hacienda, and Renata superciliously agreed. Erica called Veronica a hypocrite, and Veronica said, "Be careful what you say, because you don't know me!"
Later Erica told Veronica to watch out or Renata will find out about her affair with Fabricio. Veronica said, "That's the idea. I want her to find out. All her life Renata has lived in a world of crystal, and now she's going to face reality."
The priest was praying to God about Bertha when she showed up. He said, "You are like a demon. I think of you and you are invoked."
She threatened him about something, saying, "Take care. Last time the church punished you. This time you will be excommunicated." Shocked, he asked how she knows that the church punished him, then exclaimed, "It was you who denounced me! It was your fault I had to leave the country!" Bertha nodded.
The priest said, "It was nothing to you to kill my sister Sofia! She and her husband Alfredo loved each other. Alfredo felt nothing for you except pity!" He warned her that he will do anything to protect his nephew Alejandro from her.
Bertha responded by kneeling and saying, "I want to confess, father." Reluctantly he listened to her confession (which the audience did not hear), then said, "How could you confess something so horrible? I don't want to commit a sin. Leave and never come back!"
Gleefully Bertha reminded him that he can't reveal her confession to anyone. He said, "You are a monster. There are no limits to your behavior." She agreed, "The word "limit" does not exist in my vocabulary," and said she has done many things that she's never told anyone. After she left, the priest prayed, "What am I going to do?"
Juan told Tomasa he's going to have Florencia's medicine analyzed. He's suspicious because she doesn't respond to treatment or exercise, and has no appetite. Her breathing is poor and she could die.
After Juan saw Fabricio kissing Veronica, he assured Fabricio that he won't tell Florencia because it would kill her.
Fernanda remembered Bertha telling her on the night of the shooting that Alfredo was waiting for Fernanda in the library. Bertha claimed she didn't know how Alfredo got there, but Fernanda realized, "Of course. There's no other way he could have gotten into the house. Bertha let him in!"
Carola came to Amparo and told her something -- it was vague, but I think Carola intends to give up prostitution. Amparo hugged her and said she was very happy.
