Heridas de Amor - Episode 37
Charo, the maid, told Miranda that Bertha really is responsible for all the hacienda employees quitting their jobs.
Florencia told Tomasa that she and Fabricio haven't been happy since they returned from Germany, and blamed Miranda. Tomasa said, "What happens between you two is your responsibility, not Miranda's," but Florencia said, "If I'm not happy, Miranda won't be, either!"
Fabricio told Juan he is jealous of doctors touching his wife. Juan warned Fabrico that he could catch HIV from someone like Veronica and pass it on to Florencia.
Cesar tried to buy the reserved shares of San Llorente investments from Luciano. He told Luciano he is "almost part of the San Llorente family" because he's going to marry Miranda, and he wants the shares so he can return them to the family. Luciano said the shares aren't for sale. Cesar said he will sell his country house in Tabasco to pay for the shares, and Luciano seemed interested in that.
Raul asked Juan if he (Juan) killed the brother of Sanson, the gang leader. Juan said no, the brother was injured while committing a crime with Sanson's gang. Sanson brought him to Juan, who tried to save him but couldn't, and Sanson has always blamed Juan for his brother's death.
Miranda found Fernanda's rosary, which looks just like the one the cocoa collectors on Gonzalo's hacienda gave to Miranda as a wedding present. They gave an identical rosary to Miranda's mother when she married, so Miranda realized that Fernanda must be her mother. She was furious and accused Fernanda of abandoning her as a child.
Fernanda begged Miranda to let her explain, but Miranda refused, saying, "You want to save my sister's life? How ironic. When my sister finds out who you are, she is going to die!"
Fernanda wept and told Alejandro, "I have lost my daughter forever." Alejandro said, "Don't think that. It is normal for Miranda to react this way. Only give her time to assimilate the news."
Miranda went home and asked Bertha about her mother (since Bertha is Fernanda's sister). Bertha claimed Fernanda was never happy with Gonzalo because she always wanted fame, to work in a big hospital. Miranda asked if Fernanda and Bertha had been in love with the same man, and Bertha said yes.
