Bertha visited Cesar's buddy, Louis Alberto, and I think she said she wants to buy information from him about Cesar. She asked, "What does he say about me?" Louis Alberto asked, "Everything?" and she said, "Everything."

Miranda decided not to tell Florenica that Fernanda is their mother.

Alejandro and Fernanda warned Pamela not to tell Miranda that she already knew who Fernanda was. "I committed the same error, and now she won't speak to me," Alejandro said. Pamela said, "Miranda does not forgive a betrayal," and Fernanda said, "Like Gonzalo." Pamela said, "If Miranda knew, I would lose our friendship."

Fernanda told Alejandro, "We have to get Bertha away from Miranda. Bertha is capable of anything."

Fabricio told Veronica what happened between them was a mistake. Veronica tried to make him jealous by saying how attractive Juan is.

Later Veronica asked Florencia about the love triangle between her, Fabricio, and Miranda. Florencia said angrily, "Fabricio has eyes for no one except me." Veronica tried to make Florencia suspicious by commenting, "Fabricio's country house is so beautiful and so romantic."

Gonzalo refused to thank Cesar for getting Daniel and Angel to drop the charges against him. Miranda insisted that Cesar is innocent of the fraud. She also told Gonzalo, "I know who Dr. Fernandez is."

Tomasa told Fabricio she needs money to run the hacienda. Fab. gave her some cash and said if necessary, he will sell the rights to his petroleum project to raise more money for Florencia's family.

Alejandro tried to call Miranda. Bertha answered and said, "Miranda told me she doesn't want to see you anymore." Then she told Alejandro, "We have to talk. I'm sure things are going to change between us."

Luciano informed Alejandro that Cesar wants to buy the reserved shares and that Luis Alberto is his accomplice. Alejandro seemed pleased to hear Cesar intends to sell his country house to raise money to buy the shares. He asked Luciano to "make friends with Cesar. Find out everything about him."

A private investigator approached Santiago (the priest) and said he needs to talk to Pamela and her mother, Andrea, because someone named Leonardo is looking for them. Santiago was surprised and said he'd thought Pamela's father was dead.
