I'm trying to learn Spanish by watching telenovelas. Please share your comments about the shows, too. I know I'm not the only English-speaking person who's hooked on telenovelas!

Heridas de Amor - Episode 65

Miranda told Florencia, "I'm going to marry Alejandro because I love him" (not for money).

Gonzalo called Miranda and said he knows about the theft of the cocoa but these things happen. Miranda said, "It's all my fault." I think Gonzalo said he might visit the hacienda soon.

Alejandro begged Fabricio not to tell Miranda about his revenge plot, saying he himself will tell Miranda and Gonzalo in time. He warned Fabricio, "If anything happens to Florencia, you will pay, I swear. If Florencia finds out, she will die."

Alejandro told Miranda his father's will stipulated that Alejandro's bride must sign a prenuptial agreement giving up all rights to his fortune. Miranda said, "What's the problem? I'll sign. I'm marrying you, not your fortune." Alejandro said also he will lose his inheritance unless he and his wife have a child within one year of their marriage. Miranda agreed to that, too.

Daniel told Carola he's been talking to his psychologist about his relationship with her. He asked Carola to "work" for him, saying he'll set her up in an apartment. Carola said no, she wants "another life."

Raul arrived and told Daniel about Renata's marriage to Juan. Daniel said no, it's impossible, Renata would only have married someone like Juan as a joke. Raul told Carola he'll ask Erika about that.

Pamela angrily told Miranda to stop trying to save her family, "Open your eyes! Your family doesn't exist!" She pointed out that Gonzalo's not there, Florencia lives "in a world of crystal," and Fernanda is busy trying to save Florencia and regain Renata, so Miranda is all alone.

Miranda replied that she could go far away with Alejandro and live "every woman's dream," forgetting about her family, but no, she is determined to stay and reunite her family. Pamela apologized for her outburst.

Charo (the maid) decided to give Tomasa's papers to Fernanda. She gave Fernanda a note when Gonzalo wasn't looking.

Gonzalo told Fernanda about Tomasa's last words, "She also shot." He asked what she recalls about the night of the shooting but she said her memories are confused. She said Tomasa said her two sons died when they were putting the body in the river, and Bertha took Tomasa's granddaughter away on the same night. She also told Gonzalo that Tomasa and Nati disposed of the gun.

Juan mentioned birth control to Renata and she said, "You don't want a child with me?" Juan said yes, but not right away, he wants to wait till they have their own place with a garden for their children to play in, a good school nearby, etc. Renata agreed.

Juan also said he's known Fernanda since he was a child and she's "an extraordinary woman. If you're rude to her, I'll be angry."

Alejandro told Lisania that Bertha has their father's earlier will, which is still valid, so they could lose their fortune. I think Lisania told him to marry Bertha, but Alejandro said, "You're crazy if you think I'm going to marry Bertha!" Lisania said if she loses her inheritance she'll never forgive Alejandro.

After a hard day/night it was great to relax and read your recap last night. Thanks for posting so quickly!

Lisania has turned into such a nitwit. I can understand dumping a poor student for a wealthy businessman, but when you see the men involved, Raul vs. Cesar, her choice is incomprehensible.

You're welcome! I'm so glad someone is enjoying these.

I am disappointed in Lisania, too. She seemed so level-headed and mature at first. Now she's turning into a brat. But I can see why she likes Cesar -- I think he's very attractive. Although she should have realized something's wrong with him when he slashed up his apartment with that sword!
