Heridas de Amor - Episode 80
Miranda told Alejandro it wasn't a good time to talk because Pamela was there. I missed the rest of their conversation, but Alejandro left and Miranda burst into tears. Pamela asked, "What have you done, Miranda?" and Miranda cried, "I don't know."
Bertha buttered up Amparo and Francisco, saying she's happy Renata married into such a wonderful family. Renata seemed suspicious about why Bertha was being so nice, but Amparo and Francisco believed it. Francisco said their homes and their hearts are open to Bertha. Roman said to Bertha, "You're very pretty. Are you married? Do you have children?" Bertha said no.
As soon as Bertha was alone with Renata, she demanded, "How can you live in this place? How can you sleep in that bed?" Then she begged Renata for help and support, insisting, "I am not a killer."
Juan told Fernanda and Florencia about Bertha's threat against his family, but he didn't seem to take it seriously, saying Bertha probably doesn't even remember what she said. Fernanda replied, "You don't know my sister." When Juan learned that Bertha was visiting his house, he got worried.
Miranda found the envelope Florencia told her about and thought about giving it to Alejandro, then hid it under her pillow.
Fernanda saw the flowers Renata left in her apartment and realized they must be from Renata because "no one else knows it's my birthday."
Bertha took Amparo, Erika, and Renata shopping. Fernanda was upset about this and Francisco didn't understand why. Roman said, "I don't like Bertha," then asked Fernanda, "Did you know your sister has a daughter?" Fernanda said Bertha can't have children.
Roman brought them to the convent where Nuria grew up, but the mother superior wouldn't answer their questions. After they left, the apparently evil mother superior told another nun not to feed the children (I think) and to bathe them "in cold water on the patio." She asked if the other nun remembered Nuria and the nun said yes, she remembers how much they punished Nuria. The mother superior said she would tell Bertha about Fernanda's visit.
Fermin told Alejandro and Luciano that the federal agents threatened to kill him and Pamela. Alejandro said, "We have to denounce them to the authorities!" but Fermin apparently thought that was too dangerous.
Meanwhile the agents visited Andrea (Pamela's mother) and Ambrosio said, "Years ago I asked you for Leonardo's account number and you said you didn't have it." Andrea cried, "I know who you are! What are you doing here? I don't know anything!"
Ambrosio terrorized her -- I think he threatened to rape Pamela. Before leaving he said, "Tell your daughter and el Magnate (the Tycoon) we want our money!"
Alejandro and Fermin found Andrea sobbing. She told them, "They want to rape my daughter!" Pamela confronted Leonardo and asked who he really was. He said, "Leonardo and I were cell mates. I saw him die and I couldn't do anything to help him."
He showed them the real Leonardo's diary and said it contained information about corrupt federal agents. Alejandro looked at it and said, "Guns and narcotics."
Leonardo said he heard so much over the years about Andrea and Pamela from Pamela's father that they became "my only family." After he got out of jail he spent years looking for them. He wanted to help them by getting Leonardo's money out of the country for them.
Pamela and Andrea urged him to take the money and flee the country. Alejandro said something about flying Leonardo to safety in his plane.
Cesar told Miranda he knows about Alejandro's revenge plot. He tried to kiss her and Lisania saw them. She said angrily, "Good afternoon. Am I interrupting?"
Cesar told Lisania he and Miranda are just friends. After Miranda left, Cesar snarled at Lisania, saying he doesn't have to explain himself to her. Lisania said she's going to see Fernanda to have some tests done. Cesar asked if she was pregnant and she said no, she's just agitated (I think that's what she said).
Bertha brought Amparo, Renata, and Erika home from their shopping trip and said later she will "have a surprise for everyone." She whispered to Renata how funny it was to see Amparo's face in the mall, then made some disparaging comment to Amparo about selling tacos. After Bertha left, Renata told Amparo not to feel bad because Bertha's always like that.
Later Renata told Erika that Fernanda is her mother.
