Heridas de Amor - Episode 87

Cesar told Bertha, "You killed her!" Bertha brushed that off and asked, "What are you going to do with the body?" Cesar insisted, "What are we going to do! Lizania came to my house many times and never died. The day you came, she died."

Bertha said, "It is your house, your little friend, your corpse, your problem. Solve it however you want. I'll come back when you're calmer." She tried to leave, but Cesar slammed the door. Bertha said, "Oh, I understand. You're afraid to be alone with a dead body."

Cesar (very agitated), said, "I told you. We are both in this together. We are both going to make this filth disappear." Bertha said, "How disagreeable," and complained about Lizania's eyes being open. Cesar snarled, "You are the expert! How do we get rid of the trash?"

Bertha closed Lizania's eyes, and Cesar mused, "How ironic. One day you get rid of the father, and now you get rid of the daughter."

Bertha flashed back to the night of Alfredo Luque's shooting and remembered telling Miranda, "Your mother left and she's never coming back because she doesn't love you. I am going to be your mother." Then she told Cesar, "I remembered something very important."

She said gleefully, "This body has to disappear where Alejandro and Daira will never find it" because then they will "pass their lives in torment."

Cesar worried that the police would investigate them. Bertha dismissed that, saying, "You don't have to be a doctor to know Lizania died of a heart attack." Cesar said, "How do you know?" and Bertha said, "That's how it is, period."

She pointed out that Alfredo Luque and his daughters all had heart conditions, "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" Cesar said, "And Alejandro?" Bertha gloated, "If necessary, we can annoy him to death, and who better than you, my love?"

Renata told Miranda she loves Juan but can't forget how much she likes being rich. Miranda said, "Money doesn't give happiness." Renata said, "I don't know what to do. Maybe ask for a divorce."

Juan told Veronica to learn more about her illness. Veronica said it doesn't matter because she's going to die and go to hell. Juan said, "This illness wasn't invented by God to send people to hell." He said a friend of his can help her get medicine for free. Veronica said she can't tell her parents she's sick because her mother might throw her out.

Daira called Lizania, who of course didn't answer. She told Fernanda she had a strange feeling of emptiness. She called Erika, who said she, Veronica, and Renata hadn't seen Lizania in a long time. Daira said, "She is with him, the man who beats her!"

Veronica tried to tell Florencia about her fling with Fabricio. Florencia said coldly that she already knows about that and Veronica's blackmail attempt. Veronica said she's not sorry because she needs money. Florencia said, "You kidnapped Fabricio!"

Fernanda and Juan rushed in. Veronica said she doesn't know anything about Fabricio's kidnapping but it's OK with her, then yelled at Florencia, "I am also dying!" Florencia passed out.

Juan yelled at Veronica for nearly killing Florencia. Veronica said, "Don't exaggerate! I'm dying, too, but the difference is nobody cares!" Juan pointed out that she never returns Renata and Erika's calls. Veronica said, "They can go to hell!"

After Sanson took Lizania's body away, Bertha started to leave, thanking Cesar for the "adventure" and the "exciting surprise." Then Nuria showed up, saying she had to take the stairs because the elevator was detained and she heard a loud noise in the elevator, like something falling. Cesar and Bertha claimed they didn't hear anything.

Nuria asked why Bertha never told her that she's Nuria's mother. Bertha said she would explain another day, then insisted on taking Nuria home.

Trinidad called Rebeca and told her that Fabricio is alive, but not where he is. Rebeca told Miranda about the call, who told Bertha.

Cesar told Sanson (over the phone) to abandon Lizania's car, purse, and body in different places. The next day, Lizania's body was found.

Daira told Renata and Miranda that she's worried because Lizania didn't come home. Renata said, "She told me she loved to be beaten, but she never told me who it was." She said it's too soon to start calling hospitals in search of Lizania, and Daira agreed.

Trinidad called Rebeca again and told her Fabricio is being beaten. Rebeca went into hysterics. Julio arrived and asked, "Who is being beaten?"

Sanson called Cesar and said there was no mention of Lizania's body in the newspapers. Cesar told him to keep monitoring the news. Luis Alberto arrived and told Cesar that Gonzalo has proof of his crimes. (I thought Cesar knew that already.) Cesar's door bell rang again and this time it was Daira asking, "Can we talk?"

Oops, guess I was wrong about Daira telling Miranda that Lizania had a bad heart. She was talking about Florencia...old news. You did a really good job capturing the cold-hearted conversation between Cesar and Bertha. They are mean! Lizania deserved better. I can't wait until they get their just desserts.

Bertha certainly thinks Lizania had a heart problem. It will be interesting to see how that turns out. Did I understand correctly - did Nuria tell Fernanda that Bertha has a heart problem, too??

Poor Lizania -- she DID deserve better. And poor Nuria, being trapped between Bertha and Cesar. Even her champion Luis Alberto isn't a good guy. I hope things turn out OK for Nuria.

Yes, Nuria told Fernanda that Bertha has a heart problem, but I think it's a lie that Bertha told Nuria in order to control her. You know, "feel sorry for me and do what I say or else I might die of a heart attack and it would be your fault." I think Fernanda knows it's a lie but so far hasn't mentioned it or done anything about it. I hope Nuria lives too, poor thing.
