Heridas de Amor - Episode 92

Rebeca gave Cesar all her jewelry to help pay Fabricio's supposed ransom. Miranda told Cesar to be careful, and he said dramatically, "I don't know if I'll return with my life. I love you so much, Miranda. Forgive what I'm going to do," then forced a kiss on her. After he left, Rebeca begged Miranda to give Cesar a chance.

Juan told Amparo and Francisco he won't give up Renata without a fight. Later he told Renata he wanted her to attend Amparo's surprise party that night. She assured him she would.

Gonzalo visited Florencia in the hospital and told her, "You are my daughter, and that's it." He said he was going to the hacienda to look at the library, and when he returned, the lies and confusion would be over. Before he left, he embraced Florencia and said he loved her.

Gonzalo asked Alejandro (via phone) to meet him that night. Vicente (Gonzalo's lawyer) asked Luis Alberto to tell Cesar that Gonzalo wanted to meet him, too. Alejandro asked Vicente what Gonzalo learned in London. Vicente said he didn't know. Luciano and Alejandro agreed that Gonzalo was trying to protect Vicente.

Fabricio told Nuria he never saw his kidnappers. Cesar arrived, gave Nuria the bag of jewelry, and told her to put it in the closet. Fab. asked who paid the ransom and Cesar said, "My mother and me." Fab. said he would pay it back someday and Cesar said of course he would, "Nothing in this life is free." He told Cesar he wants to get the country house back from Alejandro. Fabricio swore to Cesar that the kidnappers didn't hurt him.

Alejandro told Miranda that Gonzalo wanted to meet everyone that night.

Gonzalo called Bertha, who said nervously that she had things to do and might not be able to meet him. He yelled at her and she hung up, then told Lucas, "He said he knows everything. You said you want to find the truth, Gonzalo. I'm going to give it to you."

Gonzalo returned to the library of the hacienda and relived aquella noche (that night). He realized that Bertha shot Alfredo in the back, Tomasa knew about it and that's why Bertha took Tomasa'a granddaughter, so Tomasa wouldn't talk.

Alejandro and Gonzalo squabbled over the phone about how to handle the company's finances.

Fabricio had a happy reunion with Florencia. He claimed not to remember anything about the kidnapping and said he never wants to discuss it again. Later he went to see Rebeca and told her he'll spend his life protecting her and Florencia.

That night, Gonzalo found Bertha waiting for him at home. He told her he now knew the truth, he knew what kind of monster Bertha was. She pulled a gun on him and said, "You want the truth? Then the only truth that exists is mine!"

While Charo eavesdropped, Bertha confessed to trying to kill Fernanda but shooting Alfredo instead, and causing Tomasa to fall to her death. She said Fernanda's love for Gonzalo was always genuine, but she (Bertha) tricked Alfredo into thinking Fernanda wanted to run away with him. She was the one who let Alfredo into the house that night etc.

Gonzalo said, "You're a dirty woman!" Bertha then confessed to giving Florencia placebos all her life instead of her heart medication, saying she did all of these things to get slow revenge on Fernanda and Miranda because they always took everything she wanted in life.

Cesar arrived and said, "If I'd known the party had started, I would have gotten here earlier." He called Gonzalo a dog and gloated that he would be left with all Gonzalo's money "and your daughters. They are going to be mine."

Then Bertha apparently shot Gonzalo (although it might have been Guapo, who was standing behind Gonzalo). Gonzalo fell forward onto the floor. Alejandro, approaching the house, heard the shot and called out. Guapo told Bertha and Cesar to leave, saying he would deal with Alejandro, "If necessary I'll kill him." Bertha said, "No, we have to blame him!"

Guapo gave Gonzalo's briefcase to Cesar, who left the room with Bertha. Alejandro ran into the room and examined Gonzalo. Guapo approached and Alejandro kicked the gun out of Guapo's hand, then grabbed it and shot Guapo in the shoulder as he ran away. Guapo forced Charo to let him out through a back door.

Bertha and Cesar returned as Alejandro was bending over Gonzalo's body again. Bertha said, "Why did you do it, Alejandro?" and Cesar said, "Are you crazy, idiot?" Alejandro, showing his usual cool demeanor, pointed the gun at them (way to look innocent!) and yelled wildly that it wasn't him. Just then Miranda, Renata, and Fernanda ran into the room.

Alejandro said, "It wasn't me, Miranda!" and she said, "I believe you! Was it you, Bertha?" Alejandro said it was Guapo, but Cesar insisted he and Bertha heard Alejandro arguing with Bertha. I think(?) he also said they came into the room in time to see Alejandro shoot Gonzalo. Alejandro pointed the gun at Cesar and yelled, "Quiet, damn it, I'll kill you without pity!" Miranda restrained him, Gonzalo died, Miranda and Renata began sobbing over his body, Fernanda cried, Alejandro looked worried, and Bertha and Cesar smirked at each other.

The episode ended with Amparo enjoying her surprise birthday party. (Renata, for obvious reasons, wasn't there.)
