Heridas de Amor - Episode 97

A quick recap tonight because I don't have much time. Luciano and Juan arrived at the hacienda with Pamela, who had been rescued by helicopter. As Miranda was welcoming them, Nuria ran in crying that her baby was dead. Juan examined the baby and said it was crib death. Bertha looked worried.

Later Bertha suggested that Nuria should breast-feed Florencia's baby, since Florencia is unable to do it. Juan agreed that it was a good idea. Bertha insisted on being the one to ask Nuria. She told the weeping Nuria, "What if I told you your baby is alive?" adding that Nuria should just do as she was told and she would later get a wonderful surprise. (This leads me to suppose that Bertha switched the babies and it was actually Florencia's baby who died.)

Nuria agreed to nurse the baby. Florencia was unhappy about it, and told Bertha to stop manipulating her. She complained to Miranda that she's only putting up with Bertha to help Alejandro -- apparently the sisters planned to investigate Bertha but so far they haven't learned anything.

Miranda worked to help feed and care for the local people left homeless by the storm. She developed a cough but refused to rest. Meanwhile, Juan's family members decided to collect food and other items for the storm victims.

Alejandro met his lawyer, a beautiful woman who said she believes in his innocence. Alejandro told her how worried he is about Miranda.

Sanson treated Cesar's bullet wound. Sanson said something about getting revenge on Juan. (He mentioned Juan's "old lady" but I don't know if he was referring to Renata or Amparo.) Bertha showed up and told Cesar his son had died.
