Heridas de Amor - Episode 116

Miranda asked Renata to help her with the chocolate business -- I'm not sure, but I think she wants Renata to work as a model. (??)

Roman called Cesar and, disguising his voice, asked, "What happened when Lisania died in your apartment?" Cesar demanded, "Who is speaking?" but Roman hung up.

Charo apparently went to work for Liliana, but soon returned to the San Llorente house saying she didn't like Liliana. Miranda called Liliana and yelled at her for interrogating Charo about Miranda's personal life.

Liliana told her friend Marisol, "She is furious, and you know what, she's right." Marisol urged Liliana to pursue Alejandro, saying, "You have to be more pragmatic, more realistic. When Alejandro recovers his fortune, Sofia can have a life of consequence."

Juan found Renata in the kitchen of the empty San Llorente house. She complained about all their possessions being gone. Juan said, "I have also lost a treasure of great value, and I don't know how to get it back," then kissed her.

Fabricio pointed out to Miranda that she loves Alejandro. Miranda said, "I have to forget him because I don't have time for love." Fabricio begged her not to lose Alejandro forever.

Miranda went into the kitchen and told Renata and Juan that she still loves Alejandro, but every time she tries to tell him, she pictures him kissing Liliana.

Meanwhile, Liliana told her friend Marisol that she doesn't want to break up Alejandro's marriage but it would be different if he were divorced. Marisol immediately phoned Alejandro and claimed that Sofia was very upset and Liliana was crying. Alejandro said he would come to Liliana's house immediately.

I thought Bertha could use her evil powers to fight off Guapo -- maybe blast him with beams of fire from her eyes, or pull another knife out of her chest and stab him -- but no, he raped her. Bertha said, "You are a brute, an animal." Guapo smirked and said something about her smelling like fear and death, then left.

Cesar returned and found Bertha huddled on the couch. Suspicious, he asked who had been there, and Bertha said, "The Guapo." Cesar snarled, "With Quasimodo, you pervert? You're repugnant!" Bertha said, "I didn't want to. He raped me, but I swear he's going to be sorry!"

I looked away from the screen to make notes so I didn't see exactly what happened next, but apparently Cesar threw up?!

When Alejandro reached Liliana's apartment and saw that nothing was wrong, he said angrily that it was stupid for Marisol to call him, he had raced over and could have had a car accident. After he left, Liliana blamed Marisol and ordered her to leave.

Juan told Renata that lab tests found the blood of two different people on the handkerchief Guapo dropped the night of Gonzalo's murder.
