Heridas de Amor - Episode 121

Florencia's ghost visited Fabricio and told him, "I'll take care of the baby. Try to sleep." Fabricio went to sleep and Florencia put the baby in the crib. Fabricio woke up and begged, "Don't go, Florencia," but she left. He prayed, "Please God, tell me it wasn't a dream." Charo came into the room and said she could smell Florencia's perfume. Fabricio said, "I knew it."

Fernanda brusquely told Liliana to call her "Doctor," not Fernanda. Liliana said, "Now I see where Miranda inherited her character." Fernanda retorted that Liliana should call Miranda "Mrs. Luque."

Cesar told Bertha that Luis Alberto emptied out his accounts. "Before I kill him, I swear he's going to see what I do to Nuria." He said his most important investors had taken their money out of his business, then warned Bertha not to betray him "because with you I will be crueler than with anyone else. Understand, Bertha?"

Renata told Juan she wasn't pregnant and didn't want a baby. He continued questioning her and she blurted, "I don't know if this baby is yours or Cesar's!" Juan said, "Please, don't cry, precious," that children are children and he didn't care if the child was of his blood.

After smelling Florencia's perfume, Charo worried that Gonzalo and Tomasa would haunt her for not telling the police about Bertha. Bertha arrived and told the surprised Charo, "It's like you saw the devil." Charo said "almost" so Bertha slapped and threatened her.

Juan told Fabricio he could smell Florencia's perfume, too. Fabricio revealed that he saw Flor.'s ghost. Juan said, "Maybe it was your desire to see her say goodbye to her son that provoked this dream." Fabricio said if it was just a dream, they wouldn't be able to smell Florencia's perfume.

Bertha told Renata that she came through the back door because she didn't want anyone to see her. Renata said coldly, "That's the door people like you use." Bertha said, "You don't know what terrible pain you're causing me." Renata said, "You are a stupendous actress, Bertha!" then asked why Bertha told Veronica to sell drugs to Renata. "Why did you do it? I always loved you like a mother." Bertha said, "It was the best way to embarrass Gonzalo and the best way to destroy Fernanda."

Renata said, "It hurts me so much to know who you are. You are a murderer!" Bertha protested that she didn't kill Gonzalo. Renata said, "I refer to Florencia. I have proof of the way you killed her." Bertha said, "No proof of that exists." Renata said she had the medications that Bertha tampered with. Bertha said, "You can't do this, Renata. I adore you." Renata retorted that Bertha didn't love anyone.

Bertha tried to leave, saying, "This is the last time we are going to see each other." Renata said they would see each other for the last time when she denounced Bertha for killing Florencia. "You killed my sister and I swear you're going to pay for that. Leave by the service door."

Veronica came into the room and Bertha told Renata, "Don't trust Veronica. She's not your friend. She's always hated and envied you." Again she tried to leave, but first Renata demanded, "The keys."

Bertha handed them over, then taunted Renata about being pregnant with Cesar's baby, calling it "the child of damnation and perversion" (something like that), and "a monstrosity," which of course upset Renata.

Miranda returned to Mexico City and was pleased to learn that Alejandro got their furniture back. Fabricio told Juan he intended to marry her after she divorced Alejandro.

Renata told Juan she had Florencia's tampered-with medications. Juan said angrily, "You have them? After Tomasa died, we looked all over the hacienda for them!"

Luis Alberto gloated to Nuria and Roman that he had punished Cesar by emptying his bank accounts. Nuria said Cesar should be punished "by the law, not by us." She said she wanted Cesar to know they would use the money to help poor children (as if Cesar would approve!!)

Julio complained to Rebeca that Cesar treated him like an employee. Rebeca said something about how her husband raised Cesar, and Julio said angrily that it was Rebeca's fault. He called Cesar corrupt, and Cesar overheard. They argued about Luis Alberto's disappearance and the failure of their business. Cesar called Julio "useless," and Julio said, "You are more interested in Bertha than work." Bertha arrived and asked, "What's going on, horde of imbeciles?"

Raul told Carola he was going to Spain to study and wanted her to go with him.

Miranda told Fernanda maybe she would talk to Alejandro since he got their furniture back. Alejandro ran into the room and exclaimed, "I'm free of all charges! My name is cleared!" He told Miranda, "I didn't kill Gonzalo," and she said, "I never doubted your word."

Liliana appeared and exclaimed that they should all toast Alejandro's freedom. Miranda scowled.
