Heridas de Amor - Episode 123

Miranda asked Fabricio never to separate her from his baby. He said, "The child is yours, too."

Pamela, who apparently has the magical ability to talk anyone into anything, got Charo to admit that Guapo shot her while Bertha watched. Later Pamela told Miranda.

Florencia thought that Julio was very sick and a pacemaker wouldn't help. She told Fabricio he should call Julio "papa" but Fab. said he couldn't do it because he had always regarded Gonzalo as his substitute father.

Vicente told Luciano and Ramon that he found evidence against Cesar in London.

Juan remarked to Raul that their brother Joel was the most independent member of the family, "so much that we never see him" -- I thought that was hilarious because it's true!

Alejandro told Liliana he would take Sofia to her mini Olympics, after all.

Bertha called Miranda and said she was at the hacienda. She ordered Miranda to meet her there tomorrow. Miranda called Gavino, who said Bertha wasn't at the hacienda. Bertha was actually at Cesar's apartment, gloating that Miranda would be so upset by her call that she wouldn't get much sleep that night.

Sanson told Cesar and Bertha that the police were watching Cesar's apartment -- or something like that. Cesar decided to leave. He told Bertha he would stay in touch with her. Bertha hugged him, but Cesar snarled, "Don't touch me!" and said thinking of her with Guapo made him want to vomit.

Nati put a gun in Gonzalo's desk, telling Gonzalo it was the same gun Bertha used to shoot Alfredo Luque and it would be used again.

During the mini-Olympics at Sofia's strange father-worshipping school, Liliana insisted to Marisol that Alejandro only agreed to participate because he had "the biggest heart in the world."

Miranda also attended the Olympics. She told Pamela it had been a long time since she had seen Alejandro looking so happy. Pamela pointed out that it was a happy occasion, not a funeral. Liliana confronted Miranda and asked why she was there. Miranda said Sofia had called and invited her.

Julio and Rebeca went to Cesar's apartment. Bertha said sarcastically, "Mom and Dad came to tell you that you're a bad boy for living with me, right?" Julio said they knew Cesar helped kidnap Fabricio, and they wanted Rebeca's jewelry back or they would tell the police, adding "Neither of you has any shame. Cesar, God won't forgive you." Cesar snarled, "No one's forgiveness matters to me!"

Rebeca said they would go to the police and Cesar snarled, "Do it!" and stormed out. Bertha said, "That wasn't the best way to confront Cesar." Rebeca snapped, "Quiet! You are a viper, Bertha!"

Santiago called Alejandro and said Nuria and Luis Alberto wanted to give him evidence of Cesar's wrongdoing. Nuria told Santiago she had a premonition something bad would happen. Santiago finally told her that Tomasa was her grandmother.

Back at the the school olympics, Marisol started chatting with Miranda (pretending not to know who she was) and said Alejandro was planning to get divorced so he could become Sofia's father.

Miranda confronted Alejandro (who was looking very cute in a black t-shirt) and told him it was Sofia who called her when they were talking together in the library (not Fabricio, as I guessed). After Miranda left, Alejandro asked Liliana, "Did you plan all this?" and Liliana said no, she had been surprised to see Miranda there.

Veronica asked Fabricio if it was OK for her to hug and kiss the baby, and Fabricio said yes because AIDS can't be transmitted that way. Veronica said, "Thank you for not discriminating against me."

Fabricio looked at his computer screen and read something about a security camera photo taken when the German doctors died (or something like that). He exclaimed, "It's Bertha!"

Ha! "Strange father-worshipping school," good one! This was a great recap, you're really getting on a roll with these. I agree, Alejandro looks very cute in black.

Thanks, Sylvia! Originally I was writing these for my grandmother, whose eyesight isn't good, so I tried to keep them short (obviously I'm not very good at that!) But some storylines are so ridiculous that I have to comment. This Sofia-wants-a-father thing is almost as bad as Renata's eternal whining!
