Heridas de Amor - Episode 124

Veronica asked Charo if she knew where Bertha's dog was being boarded. Charo said yes. Veronica told Renata and Fabricio, "Bertha would confess many things to get her dog back."

Luis Alberto told Santiago he intended to marry Nuria as soon as possible. After Santiago left the hotel room, Cesar arrived and Luis Alberto opened the door, thinking it was Alejandro. Cesar knocked Luis Alberto out, then attacked Nuria.

Alejandro arrived and got into a fist fight with Cesar. He told Cesar he had proof of Cesar's fraud. Cesar told Nuria she and Luis Alberto had 24 hours to return his money, then left.

Miranda called and Alejandro told her where he was. When Miranda arrived, Nuria and Luis Alberto admitted to helping Cesar defraud Gonzalo. Nuria begged Miranda to forgive her.

Alejandro asked how Lisania died. Luis Alberto said, "I'm going to tell you exactly what Cesar told me. He said Lisania liked him to hit her." He explained that Lisania died of fright while being threatened by Bertha and Cesar. Alejandro said, "When I see Bertha again, I'm going to kill her."

Nuria explained that she found Lisania's medallion in Cesar's sofa. Saying he couldn't stand to hear more, Alejandro left with Miranda (and boxes of documents incriminating Cesar).

Luis Alberto told Nuria, "We're leaving right now." Nuria begged him to return Cesar's money, but Luis Alberto insisted Cesar would never find them. They left the hotel.

Renata told Carola she wanted to speak with her alone. She told Carola to accept that Juan loved her (Renata). Carola said something about Renata's trip to New York with Cesar. Renata slapped her and Carola slapped back.

Carola said it was time for them to put their cards on the table. Renata told Carola to admit she hated Renata for taking Juan from her. Carola admitted it. She asked why Renata took Juan from her. Juan arrived and said, "It was destiny, or God, I don't know." He repeated that he doesn't care if Cesar is the father of Renata's baby.

Carola told Renata she can believe what Juan says because he doesn't lie. Renata nastily replied that she doesn't need Carola to tell her that. Carola told Renata not to hurt Juan or she would turn into Renata's "worst nightmare."

After Carola finally left, Juan told Renata the tests on Florencia's medication proved that Bertha was giving Florencia sugar pills.

While visiting the San Llorente house, Santiago got a phone call with good news. I'm not sure what he said(?) possibly that he was getting back money Bertha stole from him years ago. He exclaimed, "Now I can help many people!"

Miranda and Alejandro were meeting with Vicente and Luciano in the San Llorente office when Liliana burst in, saying she had to speak with Alejandro urgently. Miranda asked sarcastically if she wanted Alejandro to help Sofia with her math homework. Liliana insisted that Alejandro should meet her at her house that evening, but Alejandro said he would talk to her tomorrow, in the office.

Cesar returned to his apartment and found Lucas along with a note from Bertha asking him to take care of the dog. Cesar put the dog in the bedroom, then demanded, "Why has Miranda betrayed me?" He threw a glass against the wall and started smashing up his apartment with his sword (again), yelling, "No one uses me, Bertha, no one!"
